ULTIMATIUM Adds New Members

January 6, 2009

Oulu, Finland-based power metal band ULTIMATIUM has announced the addition of bassist Mikko Hepo-Oja (ex-CATAMENIA) and second guitarist Sauli Jauhiainen to the group's ranks.

Commented the group: "With a help of new members, ULTIMATIUM has started working with new songs for the third album. New songs lean more to a heavier and even progressive approach of power metal and vocals will have more power and scale than before. Schedules are announced later this year as pre-producing part of the album has been completed and final form of the album has been decided. At this point we are still talking about 50-plus minutes of heavy (prog)power metal, with a working title 'Infinite Power' and introducing such track titles as 'Truth Of The Universe', 'I Can', 'Keep Your Ground' and so on. It is also likely that ULTIMATIUM is going to release an Internet single at some point, before actually closing up to studio. Song that's reserved for this purpose is lighter, more classic power metal than rest of the songs on the album, with multilingual versions (at least English and Finnish versions)."

ULTIMATIUM 2009:
